Pastor Hill is governed by the words of the apostle Paul, “God forbid that I should boast, save in the Cross of our Lord Jesus Christ, by whom the world is crucified unto me, and I unto the world” and “If any man will come after me, let him deny himself and take up his cross and follow Me”. The Cross she lifts calls men and women to follow our Lord and King, Jesus Christ.
Pastor Hill holds a B.A. in Theology and Religion from Atlantic Union College, and a Master of Divinity with an emphasis in New Testament Studies and Evangelism from Andrews University Theological Seminary. On July 4, 2022, Pastor Hill was commissioned to the gospel ministry, becoming the first female commissioned pastor in the Bermuda Conference. She is married to Dwayne Hill, who serves alongside her as an elder. Together they labour for the building up of the Kingdom. He is her support and a source of strength. Their union is blessed with four sons.
Pastor Michelle Hill presently serves as the pastor of the Midland Heights Seventh-day Adventist Church. She also serves as a member of the NAD Women’s Ministry Advisory Committee and the Atlantic Union Women’s Ministry Advisory Committee and, until 2021, served on the North American Division Pastoral Advisory Committee. Pastor Hill has successfully conducted evangelistic campaigns and revival series in Bermuda, the United States, South Africa, Mexico, and the United Kingdom. She also has a keen interest in women’s issues and has had the privilege of speaking at numerous women’s events both in Bermuda and internationally. She is the founder of “Women Connecting in Prayer” (WCIP), which connects women from around the world in prayer and praise. She is a sought-after intercessor and has been called upon to offer prayers on various platforms.
On September 27, 2026, Pastor Hill was elected as the Executive Secretary and Human Relations / Intercultural Director of the Bermuda Conference of Seventh-day Adventists. Pastor Hill was also reelected as the Women’s Ministries Director for the Bermuda Conference of Seventh-day Adventists.
